CASERITA has been working with COPROCA from the beginning, and COPROCA wool can also be found on this site. COPROCA is a company that brings together llama and alpaca breeders from the Altiplano, with the goal of encouraging the raising of camelids through the processing and merchandising of their wool.
The AWAYU brand was developed to give wool an aggregated value and to promote hand crafted items by creating unique items that showcase the image of Andean culture. There are more than 600 women members in 19 El Alto associations that comprise this project.
